What combination of factors were necessary to begin the IndustrialRevolution?

The Industrial Revolution required many factor in order to begin the time of production and urbanization. One of the major factors was the use of both natural and man made resources. Natural resources such as coal, timber, metals, and textiles jump started production and industrialization. Access to ports and water ways was another major aspect of this revolution. Ocean ports and navigable rivers allowed traders and producers to transport their products. Also, rivers provided power to drive water mills that would run machines. Although this form of power existed prior to the Industrial revolution, it was a main component of the era. Finally, new types of transportation and communication emerged. Railroads, steamships, canals, and telegraphs provided a safer and faster means of transportation.
